The house
The accommodation at Shira is spacious yet cosy.
The living room has comfortable seating and a warm welcoming wood burning stove. The real wood floor gives a cosy feel to the room and the large window gives sea views to the islands of Pabay and Scalpay and beyond. Sky TV, a DVD and CD player are provided with a nice selection of DVDs, CDs, books, jigsaws and games.
The kitchen is roomy, light and welcoming with real wood flooring and a dining table and seating for six. Modern kitchen units are equipped with ample good quality crockery, cutlery and cookware. A ceramic hob, fan oven, dishwasher, microwave and fridge / freezer are provided. Patio doors give access to a decked area at the rear of the house where there are lovely views over the enclosed garden to open moorland which stretches to the horizon and is full of wild plants, flowers and birds.
A washing machine, tumble drier and ironing facilities are provided in a utility area.
The master bedroom which has a king size bed and ensuite shower room is tastefully and comfortably furnished. The two attractive twin bedrooms also provide light yet cosy and welcoming accommodation. All the bedrooms will be prepared for your arrival with the beds made up.
The modern and attractive family bathroom has a bath / shower, toilet and hand basin.
All bed linen and towels are included in our tariff.
Shira is set in its own private garden and has ample private off road parking space.
